WINTER SHOW 2024

Winter Show is UIC School of Design's annual student exhibition held after the fall semester, showcasing student work with music, food, and raffle prizes. The 2024 identity focused on winter as a time of solitude and crafting, using paper weaving experiments to reflect the texture of handwoven crafts. The poster series paired warm cranberry pink tones with cold beiges and blacks, reflecting a cozy winter holiday along with a sense of stillness. The instagram animation features winter branches blowing in the wind, while the physical photo frame incorporated paper-mâché branches and cranberry wooden beads; All natural, handcrafted materials. Raffle prizes included cranberry mugs with hot cocoa and Chicago-themed winter postcards, blending woven textures, type, and city photography to create meaningful keepsakes for attendees.
